Support - Tytron 1.x Knowledge Base

Database Maintenance is an important step in ensuring that the TyTron software is running smoothly and quickly. To load a patients file the computer must look through the database to find all of the patient information you need. Over time your database will grow with each patient and scan you add to their file. The TyTron uses a very stable and secure database for storing all this information. As your database grows and changes it may become fragmented which can cause a minor slow down. Running the database maintenance will defragment the database and reorganize the information to maintain high reliability and speed.

  1. Close out of the Main Titronics program.
  2. Click on the <Start> button
  3. Go To All Programs
  4. Highlight the line that says TyTron C 3000
  5. Highlight & Click on the option that says Database Maintenance
  6. Find the Box that’s labeled Alias Name, pull down the  bar – Select VT95
  7. Find the Box that’s labeled Table Name, pull down the bar – Select each Table Name individually and Click on <Rebuild>.  After each table is complete a message will show at the bottom of the page stating that “Rebuild is successful”.
  8. Click <OK> to exit out of the Maintenance Program.
  9. Double Click on the normal Titronics Icon located on your desktop.
  10. Go through and check the program to see if your errors have been taken care of.

For optimal scanner performance Database Maintenance needs to be completed on a monthly basis, as well as, BEFORE you complete a backup of your database.  This will help to ensure a successful backup and restoration process.

It will also fix most of the corruption errors that occur in the TyTron C-3000 program.
